Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many records through the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. 50-18-70 et seq., while court files also follow court rules, sealing orders, and confidentiality statutes. The hard part is figuring out which Pierce County office holds the file you want. The Clerk of Superior Court handles Superior, State, and Juvenile court records; Probate Court handles marriage, estate, guardianship, conservatorship, and vital-record matters; Magistrate Court handles small civil claims, dispossessories, preliminary hearings, and warrant-related magistrate matters. The Sheriff's Office manages jail and booking information. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for these offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
